Living Tao Qigong Retreats set the scene for a joyful and deeply relaxing journey into self-healing. Join us in gentle, nurturing practices of Qigong that rejuvenate vital life energy for radiant health and well-being. In this Retreat you will learn inspiring, effective Qigong exercises and healing meditations you can take home for your personal practice. These empowering skills promote and maintain good health and bring balance and harmony to life, enabling you to take vitality and well-being into your own hands.
The Retreat venue is on 10 serene and secluded acres of forest with ocean views just 5 minutes from beautiful Byron Bay. This tranquil, natural environment allows us to deeply relax and embrace the nature-based aspects of Qigong and the Healing Tao system. Scheduled are daily self-healing meditations, guided relaxation, deep breathing techniques and silent meditations, as well as gently flowing Qigong exercises.
Throughout the Retreat you can enjoy delicious, healthy, organic
food, beautiful accommodation, lovely nature walks and peaceful
rest amid a magnificent natural setting with stunning ocean
views. This supports a deeply nourishing and rejuvenating
experience of Qigong self-healing that can carry on into your
daily life. There is the opportunity to take home useful
information for the enjoyable and effective maintenance of your
health and well-being as you will receive a Qigong training
manual and DVD to assist with your ongoing practice.
Each magical day begins with revitalizing Qigong exercises to
awaken the energy system and refresh the body and mind. These
are followed by fresh Juice and a healthy, organic breakfast to
support the cleansing and renewal process. Throughout the
morning there is plenty of time to rest and enjoy the beautiful
natural surroundings. In the later morning you will be guided
through deep breathing techniques followed by silent meditation.
After a delicious and nourishing lunch, there will be gentle and calming energy work - either guided Taoist self-healing meditations or self-massage techniques, to regenerate the nervous system and improve all functions of the body.
The afternoon Qigong practice is soothing and centering with a focus on Taiji principles of postural alignment, loosening and light stretching, balance and ease of movement, and techniques of relaxation in the moving body.
After dinner there will be guided relaxation to enhance the healing experience, or a Chanting session to deepen our healing through the gentle vibrations of the voice. Join in or simply lay back and listen to the harmonious expressions of your heart. All activities are optional so you do as much or as little as you like. There is time for you to both fully immerse yourself in a superb Qigong healing experience, and take time out to reflect on your personal life journey.
